1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

Why the headshot is the vital first impression, John Murray

How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?

The last year has been amazing. I have had some time to learn a bit more about the back stage side of my business and the things that make it tick, rather than just working blind with the head down shooting headshots. It has given me the confidence and freedom to move into areas I wouldn’t have if I was just shooting headshots alone.

I love this quote. It speaks so much of changing what is within us to create good habits

What are your plans for the future?

My plans are of course to continue taking photographs and also to continue down the self development road I am on with Peptalk and clients like Linkedin. There are talks of visiting Dubai and Saudi Arabia with a headshots tour too.

What will you be talking about at this event?

I will be talking on a panel on scaling and communicating your business. We are a small business which is run effectively, as me. Clients invest in me and what I do so increased workloads and maximising the business has to be managed well in scaling up and communicating what we do and what makes us so different is vital. I will of course be sharing my self acceptance message and shooting headshots as a live demonstration where time allows.
