Black Friday is finally here and Amazon are rolling out their biggest offers yet.
Online shoppers eager to pick up discounts ahead of Christmas can now buy the Nintendo Switch and Super Mario Odyssey for £279.99, reduced from £327, while the GoPro HERO5 action camera with rechargeable battery and three-way arm is now £339, reduced from £425.
Other previously confirmed deals for today include money off ghd hair straighteners, Le Cruset kitchenware and Philips Hue wireless lighting kits.
There is also more than 40% off selected theatre tickets from Amazon Tickets included in the offers too.
Speaking about the huge shopping event, Amazon UK Country Manager Doug Gurr commented: “We introduced Black Friday in the UK back in 2010 because we believed that customers would be excited by the prospect of getting incredible deals on great gifts just a handful of weeks before Christmas.
“The customer response in that first year confirmed that belief. Fast forward seven years and Black Friday is one of the biggest days in the shopping calendar not only here in the UK but also now in many countries around the world.”
Amazon Black Friday – what you need to know
The ‘Amazon Black Friday Deals Store’ will open from midnight on Friday 17th until 23:59 on Sunday 26th November and will include:
Deals of the Day – every day throughout the period, ranging from Amazon devices, electronics and pet supplies to kitchen and home and garden items.
Thousands of ‘Lightning Deals’ – products available at a discount, in limited quantities, for a short period of time. Amazon Prime members get exclusive early access.
Deals on handcrafted gifts and innovative products from Amazon Marketplace and Handmade at Amazon.
Prime Now, will also offer special Black Fridaydeals to customers in eligible postcodes.

Shoppers will be able to find the latest lightning deals on Amazon’s Black Friday page , by signing up for Amazon’s daily deals e-mails to keep up to date, and by downloading the Amazon mobile app where you can shop all the deals on the go.

In addition to the above offers, the retailer has also confirmed that customers can now sign up for Amazon Music Unlimited for three months for just 99p for a limited time during their Black Friday sale.
The move comes as the retailer marks one year of the service, which offers users access to over 40 million songs and thousands of specially curated playlists.
This year the retailer will also launch a pop-up space in central London for the first time from the 21st – 24th November, where customers will be invited to explore the best of Amazon’s Black Friday sale offering and Amazon Prime services.
It will be free to visit the pop up, located at 13 Soho Square, London , on a first come first served basis from 12:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Speaking about the pop-up, Doug Gurr, Country Manager, Amazon.co.uk said: “We’re making Black Friday more fun than ever by holding our first ever Home of Black Friday pop up in Central London and have just released our TV advert (watch above), which features our iconic boxes having a sing-a-long to celebrate the festive season.”
