San Antonio, TX – November 1, 2017–Sirius Computer Solutions, Inc. (Sirius) announced it has acquired Forsythe Technology, Inc. (Forsythe), a leading enterprise IT solutions provider. The acquisition expands Sirius’ solutions and services offerings in security, risk management, and data center transformation.
Founded in 1980, Sirius has grown to be one of the largest solutions integrators in the U.S., with annual gross revenues of approximately $2.2 billion. That growth has been achieved by investing in areas that help it better meet the needs of its clients, and fueled by an M&A strategy focused on building a depth of solutions and services offerings that are most important to the success of its clients. Therefore, it came as little surprise when Sirius announced on October 2 that it had reached a definitive agreement to acquire Skokie, Illinois-based Forsythe in what many industry analysts have called a “blockbuster deal” that would create a “solutions powerhouse.”
In an industry where size often equals strength, Forsythe is the seventh company Sirius has acquired since 2014, joining Brightlight Consulting; Varrow, Inc.; Avnet, Inc.’s digital solution services; Force 3; thinkASG; and Continuum Security Solutions. And although they were former competitors, Sirius and Forsythe also share similar corporate cultures, core values, and a passion for excellence.
