Why typography is so important!

Typography is serious business. Kerning or the spacing of letters can get you in some trouble if done incorrectly. Who’d have thought Tesco could get it so wrong. (Edit: Doesn’t seem to be a Tesco product) Other horrible examples of kerning include: and our own TIT ANIC From wikipedia Typography (from the Greek words Ï„ÏÏ€Î¿Ï‚ (typos) = form and Î³ÏÎ±Ï†Î® (graphe) = writing) is the art and technique of arranging type in order to make language visible. The arrangement of type involves the selection of typefaces, point size, line length, leading (line spacing), adjusting the spaces between groups of letters (tracking) and adjusting the space between pairs of letters (kerning[2>).
