The Kokomo-Howard County Public Library is working with a national group to help close the gender gap in technology. Sixth- to 12th-grade girls are encouraged to join the library for Girls Who Code, during which participants use computer science to make an impact on the community while being supported by a sisterhood of peers and role models.
Girls Who Code is free, but registration is required for the weekly program. It is from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Feb. 7 through April 25, except during spring break. Register online or call 765-457-3242.
