Fortnite’s popularity has continued to grow and Epic Games has revealed plans to launch a new mobile version of the game very soon.
It will be the same version of Fortnite and offers players the same map and weekly content updates as the other versions of the game.
Players are already able to enjoy Fortnite Battle Royale on multiple platforms including PS4, Xbox One and PC, but are you able to play the game on the Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo’s newest console has been a big hit since its release last year and its portability could make it a great alternative option for Fortnite players.
Can you play Fortnite on Nintendo Switch?
Currently, Fortnite is not available to play on the Nintendo Switch, however fans of the game can remain hopeful that we will see it added to the console in the future.
Earlier this year Epic Games’ Creative Director Donald Mustard tweeted that he hopes that they will be able to launch Fortnite on the Switch some time in the future.
The game is already available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac, and Epic Games announced last week that they will soon be launching the game on iOS and android.
iPhone and iPad users will be able to sign-up to trial the new mobile version starting today by heading to the Fortnite website.
The team behind the popular game have also confirmed that there will soon be cross-platform play and progression across all of the devices, which will enable players to team up even if they are not using the same console.
