Rosie O’ Donnell and a group of Broadway actors arrived in Washington D.C. ready to disrupt President Donald Trump with their protest outside of the White House.
But the plan was a bust as the performers who arrived by bus to the nation’s capitol from New York City should have just crossed the Hudson River into New Jersey – where the president actually was.
The anti-Trump comedian joined the performers in a musical protest which they must have thought would make some sort of impact, singing show-tune favorites like “Do You Hear the People Sing?” from “Les Miserables,” “Let The Sun Shine In” from “Hair” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” from “The Sound of Music.”
Not likely Trump could hear any of it from his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club where he is vacationing.

“We hope to give you a nice little show and remind you that your voice is important,” O’Donnell told the crowd. “Whether it’s here in Washington, D.C., or in the town where you live, let your voice be heard.”
Those singing voices were led by Seth Rudetsky, host of SiriusXM channel “On Broadway” who helped O’Donnell organize the event.
Protesters gathered with the predictable anti-Trump signs, accusing the president of being a racist or colluding with Russia, while chanting “Lock him up!” and “Putin’s puppet!” Some sported shark and dinosaur costumes and letters spelling “TREASON.”

“Let the president know in no uncertain terms that we are alive, awake and we are woke,” O’Donnell said as she joined the other performers to sing for less than half an hour before leaving, according to The Daily Caller.
The event drew in a small crowd which shrunk down to a few dozen people after just two hours. Some of those gathered in Lafayette Square as part of the “Kremlin Annex” protest have been part of demonstrations being held over the last three weeks.
“Republicans, they want to win elections by making fewer people vote. Boo!” Kristin Mink told the crowd.
Mink, who had the word “vote” shaved on the side of her head, was the of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, and told him to resign days before he stepped down.
“The message to the people is to use your voice, stand up against treason and stop fascism before it takes over the United States.” O’Donnell said. “We’re gonna keep coming until he’s out.”
Of course, O’Donnell and her group left after the musical number and headed back to New York.
Twitter users were less than impressed, but certainly amused, by the production.
Do they know he isn’t there?
Thanks for the list of singers and actors to boycott.
Lmao. Is this their off off Broadway production?? What Complete Losers! Clearly they aren’t good enough actors or musicians to have actual jobs Broadway so they come to harass the President that is not even there lol 🎭 #rosiegohome
Nice job protesting when he isn’t there.
What does any of this accomplish?
How come they don’t go Chicago and do something like that there to bring attention to all the shootings that happened over the weekend? Or don’t they care about those people? Be nice to see Chicago trending for once.
You had Election Day. You lost. Sing away. You don’t represent me. America voted. Go back to your girlfriend! Broadway needs to shut up. If this was Obama this would be outrageous. I’m embarrassed. Am cancelling 5 Broadway shows. Hamilton sucked!
Warms my heart everyday to see liberals so upset.
