HONOLULU (KITV) –

#TropicalStormOlivia is trending all over social media. Many are taking to the web to share their weather experiences.

The west side of Maui began to feel the effects of Tropical Storm Olivia Wednesday morning.

Forecasters even all the way out in Denver, Colorado are reporting on Olivia.

We’re not alone, the east coast is preparing for a major hurricane that’s set to hit North Carolina. Nasa tweeted an image noting both storms.

But some are seeing the bright side, capturing rainbows here in the Aloha State.

Others, hitting the surf, even though it is not recommended as much of that state is under a High Surf Warning.
